Email Writing

Guidelines
• Modern way of communication
• It’s mostly used for formal communication these days.
• Layout or format can slightly vary depending on the online platform. Some basic features are common and should be used.
• Write the email address of the receiver after ‘to’ in the top box.
• Mention the subject briefly in the box, below the receiver’s email address box.
• Salutation can be, Sir/Madam/ Dear sir/ dear madam...etc.
• Write the main content in approximately three paragraphs in the main body of the email.
• Complementary close can be, Regards / with regards /warm regards...etc.
• Mention full name, address and phone number of the sender at the end. It’s called email signature.
